OXE rel 9 docs

Just downloaded rel 9 documents from this site, unzipped no problem. When i go to run the docs from load.exe icon my pc tries to open and run the program via microsoft word instead on my web browser ! Any ideas this is only a problem on a vista machine ?

still boots up in microsoft word but if i put the following string in my browser it works fine. Strange ?

Select an html file, shift + right click, select Open with...select Internet Explorer and then check Always use this software...

I had previously tired your tips anyway, still no joy. Im happy to past url into my browser and save as fav anyway, cheers for your help.

Hum...check on folders properties and there you will find extension associations, check if HTML is associated to MS Word.

this one is EASY!..delete VISTA and load Windows7...I gave up on Vista ages ago, Windows7 is brilliant, EVERYTHING works on it, ACTIS, OXO-OMC, LOLA, PM5, PCMMC (4200), IVPS, Omnivista, CCD/CCS etc...no issues, no dicking around with (pretend to run as 'XP-Sp3' rubbish.

I have no problems with Vista except for the fact it's a resource hog...so I am excited for the release of Windows 7

Sounds like select installed something that changed his default program for html to word.
