problem setting timezone in swinst R8.0

hi all

I have a problem, i cant set any time zone in swinst it comes up ith this error (see below) has anyone else seen this, and does anyone have any ideas of a fix

Date & Time menu Installation FACILITIES 2.46.0



The date is May 1, 2009 and the time is 11:21:24 (11:21:24 AM)
The timezone is

1 Set date & time
2 Set timezone
3 NTP server management
Q Go back to previous menu

Your choice [1..3, Q] ? 2

timeconfig: line 1 unexpected in /etc/sysconfig/clock:
timeconfig: critical error reading /etc/sysconfig/clockUnable to configure timezone
Operation canceled...

Press return

Why not change the timezone directly in the linux with timeconfig?

i get exactly the same problem when doing timeconfig

It's normal, swinst run timeconfig...
You have a problem with the file /etc/sysconfig/clock
Check this file, read and write rights for root.
You can test this an empty file or copy this file from an other CPU (transfer in binary mode via FTP, use swinst account to have rights to write in /etc).
