Speed Dialing - Introduce a pause

Post by acaballero »

Hi,

I need to create a speed dialing so if I call to 1111 extensión I'm actually calling to an external office so I need to dial the number wait a few seconds before dialing the extension of the person I want to talk on the remote site.

Example:

1111 -> 902999999 (Pause) 2222

The question is: What is the digit to place the pause?

Thanks

Use "/"

"/" = 2 Sec delay.

If you need pause - use in SD call number "ARS prefix+number" - in ARS route use dialing command table.

Pause in OXE wasn't a #?

Enter an octet string │
│ of length 0 up to 30 │
│ within the following ranges: │
│ '0'to'9' │
│ 'A'to'D' │
│ '*' │
│ '#'

Where is the "/" knighty?

i didn't even try it! I was just responding to Mr T's post where he sounded like he made a new discovery!

In 9 years of working with the 4400 I have never yet needed a pause in a dial string

It would be nice to see where Vijay came up with that idea from now
