NTP configuration on 6850

I've been trying to configure NTP on our 6850 switches. The master ntp server has been created using a router and it's working. Everytime i tried to synchronize with the Ntp master, the system time is alwasy off 30 minutes or 1 hour. I can do it manually to correct the time, but it's not the way NtP works.

My cisco 6500 is acting as ntp master and our 6850s tons of them are configured clients.

ntp master ip-address
system timezone PST

Thanks,
Circuitid

hello

Did you enter command

system daylight savings time enable

and

system timezone "your time zone"

I have ntp and no issue with these settings
