Re: Displaying Trunk Name instead of dialed Numbers
Check your Ext.Callback Translation (Translator / External Numbering Plan).
If if your are no entry, you can't display external number.

hi
as sayed by G, check your Ext.Callback Translation (Translator / External Numbering Plan).
create new Ext Callback translators for exemple for long distance
Base N° A
Number of deleted digits 1
digits to add 000
and play with new Ext Callback translators combinaison

Re: Displaying Trunk Name instead of dialed Numbers
With same operator , we can see the dialed digits in telephone set all the time with Cisco phones. But in the alcatel system, trunk name is displayed when the call is establised. we can see the dialed digits on agent phone set (4038) before the call is answered by the customer. Then it automatically switched to trunk group name(BCPI-ISDN).We want to see the the called number all the time .We do not want to see the trunk group name.
Re: Displaying Trunk Name instead of dialed Numbers
In usual case you will see after answer "connected number" from message "CONNECT" (you can check wiht t3 trace).
But in any case you need to manage Translator/ Ext. dialing plan/ Ext/ callback translation - minimum management:
Basic Number=DEF
Number of digits to be removed =0.
Feature "display dialed number" exist only from R9 and only for attendant set.

Re: Displaying Trunk Name instead of dialed Numbers
did you cisco shown the ientity of the connected number
i mean how is realy connected with you afterunsawring
because with alcatel 403x and t3 trace shown these
if cisco didn't do this so the displayed number for outgoing think the dialed was only stored in the telphone as somme anolog set with displayer

Re: Displaying Trunk Name instead of dialed Numbers
I deal exactly with the same problem on 2 differnet installations. On both is a oxe Rel. 8.1 g1.503.27. Before OXOs were installed. With the oxo´s system the connected number is displayed fine.
The external call back translator ist configured with A, and DEF as usual.
The incoming calls are displayed correctly, also the unanswerd calls list is o.k.
We use differnt providers, connected with T2 and T0, it makes no different. As soon as the outgoing call is connected, only the name of the trunkgroup is displayed instead of the other party number.
I searched all the flags under system, external services etc., nothing i do solve the problem.
Knows someone the solution?
