OXO Default Voicemail Password

Hi, I just set a virtual set on a oxo R6 box for a client. They would like to have a recorded greeting, but I'm not able to enter the password. Does anyone know what Alcatel uses when a virtual set is created?

To change the mailbox password of a virtual set you have to program a "Mailbox" key on an other set with the number of the virtual set.
So you have to press this key an follow the instructions (password modification, greeting recording etc.)

can't you dail the voicemail on the oxo , Default :500
then enter the extension of the virtual, then password default is 1515
and use it as per normal,
other wise set a vmu box of the virtual under a key.

Hi Everyone, thanks for the info, but I'm back to square one. Installing a 10.0 OXO and trying to setup virtual mailboxes.. The password 1515 does not work? Did this change in the newer releases?

Hi everyone,
With software version R10, at first connection , opens a dialog box for setting all codes. The last field in the box relates to a Voicemail Password.
If this field setting set, then the initial password is not 151515. You can read it in the following way:
In OMC >> System miscellaneous >> Passwords >> Subscribers password. In dialog box, click the Read button. Enter the installer code and that's it. Now you can see the code.
