IP Router Primary-Address

I the following configured on one of my 6850 switches that I no longer need:

ip router router-id
ip router primary-address

How do I remove these ?

There is no command to remove those lines from the configuration.

They will always be "automatically" set as the first interface which becomes active will be the "primary-address" and the "router-id" will be derived from that one if not set explicitly.

The only way to really remove the lines from the configuration is to remove them from the boot.cfg + reboot.

They don't harm you in any way ...
