DDI Redirection

Hello.

On my site I have an OXE with 5 PRI (DDI). Once a DDI is called from the public network and is busy, it is redirected by an entity to a PG of operators. With this way, there is always an answer.

The problem is with the fax devices. When a fax device is busy, the call is redirected to the operators :?

So I have created a blank entity but no luck. Then I have disabled the "busy on camp on" feature on the internal number, but no luck also.

What I want to do is, when someone calls on a fax DDI and sends info, the second one that will call the same DDI will get a busy tone

Thank you

To do this specify one of the ACCESS COS (also known as Public Network COS or PNC) just for faxes (Classes of Service - Access COS).

Put the following parameters to 0 for day/night/mode1/mode2:
Incoming DID hold on busy set
DID overflow on free set
DID overflow on waiting
DID overflow on totally busy

Assign this PNC to the fax.

Now the caller will receive busy tone if the set is busy or doesn't answer.
There is no rerouting to an entity or operator.

NOTE:
Of course you have to specify the Public/Private/Business/Network/Trunk Access Cos under this new Access COS for the faxes to be able to dial out!

Good Luck.

It worked !!!!

The only thing that is strange for me is that the calls were redirected on a specific pilot and I don't want calls to be redirected on that pilot but on another one.
On the set settings there is no pilot and there is no pilot on the entity that the set belongs.

The result that I want is :

All sets are multiline. The user speaks on one line and another call is camped on by the public network. If the user does not answer the second call, the call will be redirected on a specific statistics pilot.

I have made the fax calls ring busy and not overflow by just changing an option in Facilities COS. I have to look up which option.
