I have an OXE IP Media Gateway (Stand alone) system R5.1Lx as below:

I have creating an empty DB without saving OPS files before. After that I downloaded from Alcatel BP website the *.swk file and uploaded it in the system using ftp connection in /usr4/BACKUP/OPS/
Now I get this error message:

Also there is no connection betwen CS and GD ?!!!
They are in the same range:
GD: 192.168.5.180
CS: 192.168.5.181
Gateway: 192.168.5.1

I have created the shelf, puted the MAC adress of GD and finaly I configured the GD IPs as above. GD bord is registered but not initialized.
I dont understand what caused this problem, the missing OPS files or there is sth demaged.

Please can you help me to resolve this problem.

Hi..

You can't upload the *.swk file directly into the system because already u created the empty DB...so wht u have to do u have to find from presales or sales people actis file which belong to this system...when u click on the file u can see right side status is finished if it's then right click and download the mao which is ur ops file....

Note:- cross verify ur actis file name and swk file names or same...

For GD communication...try this...go to mgr>IP>IP paramater>

Ethernet address checked ny tftp make it false....and it will work...

If it is a lab system do not care about these messages.
If it is a production system get all OPS files from your sales person or download them from BPWS and load OPS files as written in the docs.

I changed the "Ethernet address checked by tftp" from True to False but the situation is the same.

About the Actis file I can not find it because the presale person in my company has gone and he didnt save it somewhere. I dont know if Alcatel can provide it to me again (we are Alcatel Business Partner)

Is there any way how to make this system operational considering these problems?

For GD problem ...do u have same versions in CS & GD and better if u put the GD console trace output here...

Download them from BPWS. It is in "eLicensing Management" part, check for "Key inventory for OmniPCX Office, OmniPCX Enterprise, OmniVista, OmniTouch CC" line and click there. You will need to supply CPUID to find your files.

In Alcatel BP in the session: e-Licensing Services > My Software Keys you can find only *.swk file but not the zip file.

Your GD and CS bios version is mismatch..i faced the same problem...you have to reinstall the GD binaries which ur using in CS...Make sure GD installtion is proper ..when u do the GD binary installtion it has to restart 3times until u should not close the PC installer, so all the tables will be updated from binary installation...if u want u can cross check TC0521...

Check your network configuration, if VlanId is managed on GD but not on CD, downloading is impossible.
And if your network architecture don't authorize vlan, it's the same problem.
Check if you have managed the role addressing, in this case, the GD must have the CS role address.
And, for reduced source of problems, connect the GD to the CS with a crossed cable, or via a LANX (the S-LanX is not a very good solution...).

For the zip file, there is not a problem for running the system.
It's only used by Actis man's to upgrade a configuration. It's a file that contained the configuration, offer, ops and many other files generated by actis.
If you wan't to see this message, just get the offerId by the command ls /usr3/mao/*.swk
If the response is (ie) df00345c.swk, just create an empty file with the command
touch /usr3/mao/df00345c.zip and run the command test_ops to check if the result of the test is correct.
In this case, you haven't message, but you can't upgrade your configuration with actis, it's mandatory to reconfigure the second offer from scratch.
