Hi @all.

This is my first post in this forum.

Sorry about my bad english. But its a long time ago that i have used it.

And now my Problem.

I want to learn how to Configure a OXE and have installed an VM. (normaly i Configure OXO)

But i Cant start the mgr or menuselect.

I ever got an BIND error: BIND error panic: Can't initialize CMISE

Where is my fault???

Please follow the tutorial posted in this same section.

If you are meaning the slimphony tutorial -> I did it. Ive followed the complete tutorial.

ive load also the Rel. 6.0.
On both Releases (6 & 8 ) i got the same error.

Rel.6 installed as application server
Rel.8 installed as Blade server and Application Server.

If not, which tutorial should i Follow.

Is tel running? Check with role, if answer is not MAIN type RUNTEL before
using mgr again

After software loading you need database - or loading from another PBX (f.e. for test), or create empty database (swinst/ expert menu/ database tool/ create empty database).
After this you can use mgr after tel application starting or without real start (f.e. after command RUNMAO).

OK that´s was it. Ive created a new database and now i can go on.
