Hi everybody,

Just a little post to say the R9 works fine.
Think about desactivating the firewall and everyting is right.

Good luck.

I found one issue with it for now..
I have 10 DPT1, and 20 trunk groups.
I can create 2 accesses for 2 trunks (no matter if they are on the same board, or different board), then I can't create any new access to other trunks. I need to reboot.

I sent the traces to R&D.

Can you try ? I'm not even sure you need to have the physical connections. Just create in your WMware a shelf, and give it a shot. Thx

maybe a problem of the trunk value in the cfgUpdate?

Check dumpnewtel values.
How many bytes Additional free space you have?
It sounds like a memory allocation problem. (Remanent size)

Yup,

This was it. My remanent size was at -1 , I did not pay attention.
-1 means that it is not managed , and it takes a value (small) by default.

Once the PCX boot, it manage it to the minimum + some spares.
I could create 2 accesses, then blocked.

Once I reboot, it does again the minimum configured + some spares, which let me create again 2 accesses in those 2 spares...

etc etc etc..

So I changed my remanent to 42000, and it's all good :)

that happens if you play in vmware without a real ops which include
a hardware.mao to setup good values for trunks, 1/2 com and remanent size
