Re: Greeting for busy attendant/operator
I've never done this. Simply because it cann't be done.
Why ? The attendant is never busy.
You can however replace the ringback tone after a while for some kind of text.
You can use the default guide or another guide if you want:
Change under SYSTEM - OTHER - Attendant: "No Answered Call Entity Guide + True".
The system now should be able to play voiceguide 110. Also change timer 102 to desired time when you want the message to start playing, 0 means disabled.
Now you can put another guide under ENTITY than 110. In your new guide ex. 220 you can record the customers voice message and after ex. 20s of MOH or other of choice.
But please make message such as "please hold, we will soon answer your call" since it will be repeted.
You can also use another message as "incoming Call Greeting Guide" to be played before call goes to entity, in this way you can have:
"Welcome to company X" as greeting guide and after, in case of attendant busy "please hold we will soon answer your call" + music or tone
Regards,
Rens

Entity - Attendant Waiting Guide - VG what you want.
!!! System/timers/timer 102 - manage time before VG connection.

Re: Greeting for busy attendant/operator
OK guys, an attendant is never busy but there IS a way to do that even without Automatic Attendant in OPS. Installed it several times and WORKS. This is how to do it:
1. Attendant Set: Caller Cat = 10
2. assign a separate PNC to the Attendant with Called Cat Auto Attd set to 10 in all four states
3. Trunk: Automated attendant = yes, Calling Party Right Cat = 10
4. Applications/Auto Attd: Called Party Rights Cat 10: all set to 1 but voicemail, Caller Rights Cat: all set to 1 but voicemail
5. create Auto Attd Leaf 1, type= pre off hooked guide, put the voiceguide in there, attention: listening time must be exact, time out action= routing to called party number
6. Pre Off Hooked Guide: assign 1 at presentation guide 1 and set Send To Busy Attendant to true
7. Application/Automated Attendant valid = true
Works, always, no bullshit.

Hi Alex
Sounds good for also maybe B/B ABCF trunk group for internal callers to keep name and extn ifo on 4059 switchboards,
Have you tried this out or similar previously?
Cheers

Re: Greeting for busy attendant/operator
Hi Alex/fellow unleashed members,
Are you saying it is possible to achieve an operator waiting guide (unanswered call VG to operator group) to play if a call passes via an integrated automated attendant (iAA)as an option or time-out action on the OXE.
Currently, Alcatel advise it is not possible to queue on the entity to play the Operator Waiting guide (VG110 or alternative) if passing by an iAA call where the 4059IP/4059EE resides in the entity as an operator group ID.
Anyone got any suggestions for a work around "without" sending call to a CCD Pilot with agents for operator waiting guide (queuing message)?
Have a client who has operators working in dynamic role who sometimes move away from their desk to help customer in physical capacity so the callers that land on the 4059 can get the VG110 (alternated with their own VG and external music source) after "timer 102" until the call is answered by the 4059 operator.
