GD password

Hi!
The su password on GD board is lost. As a result I can't access the mgconfig command. How I can reset su password on GD board?

Sorry, I don't know of any easy way to get back the root password...
Take out GD...Take HDD off GD... Take to nearest Linux/Unix Boffin to mount as another drive... They should be able to restore your access with methods that I wont post here...
You will obviously have to take this GD offline for the duration of that, so either have a second GD configured and ready or take client offline till done...

why not force a binary reload using <ctrl> i blah blah blah?

I agree - maybe I should have added "get a oxe trained tech - not a genesys trained one and do a binary reload" then there will be no "ouch" or "damn" - just bliss and a calm serenity...

Yep - you need to remove the invisible hard drive Zanex.................!!
As has been said, best off flashing the board via PC Installer + starting again
