would like to segment our voice and data into different segment by means of VLAN. As such, please take this into consideration in preparing a IP phone network design. Please provide us the necessary information (e.g. what is the IP address range you required, number of VLAN segment, etc) required in order for our vendor to prepare the switch. The switch which we will be using is the Cisco Catalyst 4506 with 2x 48-ports (10/100/1000) PoE modules and 1x 48 ports (10/100/1000) normal Ethernet module.

anyone can help on this thanks

Your cisco catalyst is a serie 4500.
Serie 4500 is vlan capable (IEEE 802.1Q).
You just need a CCNA to configure it :-)

No, no public address !
The IP phone should be in a private network.
Choose something like 192.168.x.x
