Break password

Hi, I have a customer which was taken over by a freelancer & now asked us to service his system.

Unfortunately, the password has been changed. May I know that is there anyway to break this system's password ?

Can the password reset to default by taking out the CPU battery ?

Is the admin password still default?

If so then save the database as admin (the saved database is the same as the installer one) cold rest the system and upload the saved database as installer. The changed passwords are not restored.

The admin & installer password is not default. Even the operator password has been changed.

Is there anyway to work around this problem ?

Coz the customer have quite a number of speed dials as well as extensions programming.

I think system size not so big. Cold restart and manage from begining.

Omg, the size is not big. But the speed dials is hell lot.

And also they don't have the documentations for the speed dials unfortunately.

Is there really no other way to work around ? Coz I need to up some other things for them as well.

if you have the installer password you can reset operator password!
If you lost installer there is a way to create a daily password with an small excel tool

Wow, that's interesting. But how do I do it ?

I'm not an expert in A4200, but due to it's our old customer and the system was previously installed by my senior colleagues who had left the company.

And most of the time, I'm handling newer Alcatel systems but not A4100 or A4200 systems.

Can you please provide me the steps of doing it ? I really hope the solution you mentioned works.

i think you use PCMMC to config system?!
... you go to -system, -set/reset passwords, thats all.

Or if you lost installer PW you can login (PCMMC) as Operator with 22272 (only today) on next monday 41489.

And how do I find the daily password ? Is there some kind of tools required ?

Of course there is a small Excel tool to create daily PW.
But you need only one PW. You can modify your pbx date.
