Hi all,

Please try to give an idea to realize a request originated from a customer.
This customer has a big system with 4000 phones. There are 36 sites within Hungary.
The OXE system works with a centralized duplicated appliance server.
The question is: If the customer wants to use automated attendant regarding each sites,
is it possible to solve it with the own tool of OXE system or do we have to use an
external application?
If you have an idea how can we dedicate some appropriate numbers per sites called from
outside area in 36 (eMG) cases (with voice guides, as an automated attendant works) please let me know it.

I think your talking about the automated attendant for either 4635 or 4645 and how many simultaneous accesses or ports you can have.

If you have a 4645 vmail, then there are two options. If the 4645 lives on one of your cpu's (main or standby) then you can only have 8 vmail ports. If you dedicate the 4645 on it's own cpu (CS or appliance) then you get 16 ports. Normally it is dedicated on its own cpu in a duplicated cpu environment.

If you have 4635 vmail then you can have many more vmail ports, not exactly sure the maximum off the top of my head, but you can add multiple SPA boards to provide more simultaneous accesses to vmail.

You can also use the IAA (Integrated Auto Attendant). Again not exactly sure number of simultaneous accesses, but I'm sure it's in the documentation somewhere. I know there are two options in Actis for this, mini and maxi. But I think that is for the number of voice guides not accesses. The IAA is limited in the number of options you have within a menu. Again the documentation has good info on this.

As far as dedicating accesses to certain sites, I don't think this is possible. Any ports would be available for any site.

You are right!
We can use 4645 VM with automated attendant feature.
The problem was the access limitation (max. of integrated automated attendant!
So if we want to creat more than 8 different Automated attendant access within an OXE system the best way to use EVA!
