I don't think a log file is created/saved automatically.
I think you can set up a trace and capture or save it to a file, but I don't have Eliotts (or other superguru) brain so cannot tell you the answer for that command.
Supeguru's - WAKE UP... your assistance is needed

No No - I said SUPERGURU - you can carry on sleeping you Avatar Thief
SNMP etc.. No, the OXE has some powerful trace commands that can capture even when the user went for a pi$$ (or even they went for a $4it)
Meanwhile - we wait for Eliott to;

not sure what you are exactly after
maohist will give the last couple of hundred database changes and you can search by xtn
there are other traces you can run for database transactions for a specific xtn
you can trace on UA signalling on an xtn, what buttons are being pressed etc
for the traces look at the TB for traces

maohist only say that there was a modification or update of an extn, but not telling/showing detail action.

Since R8 (I think) they introduced more detailed info. See p.2 -
detailed mao history
0 - Exit
1 - Edition of mao history
2 - Edition of detailed mao history
3 - Edition of call handling history
4 - Edition of LOGIN only
5 - Edition of matched string
6 - Edition of ACTION on MAO
7 - Writing in file of detailed mao history
8 - Reading of detailed mao history file

You can use:
srvtrace
traced &
It will return the changes to the SQL database. You can capture them and interpret them.
After using it kill the srvtrace service.
Regards.

Hello,
The good solution will be a maohist feature improve like the incidents in R8. Perhaps in R9 ?
Meanwhile, perhaps the solution can be the use of logrotate onto the maohist files. Never try, but it can be the solution.
