EDC machine on remote media gateway

We have a customer that using a remote media gateway configuration on their local network ( connected to GD ). all the trunk are on the central area. the customer are installing EDC machine on one of the remote media gateway ( connected to SLI port ). The problem is the EDC machine is not working, there's no problem with FAX machine.

we thought that there's something wrong with the EDC machine,but if it connected directly to the PSTN line it's working fine. it's also working if we connect it to the analog port on the central area.

is there any restriction regarding EDC machine on Remote Media gateway ?

Have you turned on Fax/Modem transperency in your domain??
