Hi here, I have a customer requesting name change on their own due to they have high staff turnover as well as job rotation.
Is there a way to let my customer change the extension name by themselves ?

Yes, install PM5 version limited. Also not sure if OCM has same facility.
I'm not sure but Operator console maybe can do it too...

Two alternatives:
- Use OMC
- Use a phone set (4035 Advanced or 4038/4039/4068)
In both cases yuor customer can log on as Operator and change extension names. Even speed dail numbers can be managed by hte Operator.

The entire system can actually be programmed via a 4035

- So long as you have the time lol

Press Subscr.
Enter extension number of the phone that you want to programme.

Hi,
You can provide an OMC version with limited function to your customer (in the same way as described in a technical communication for PM5).
Copy your OMC version in a new folder and search following .dll files : "expert.dll" and "easyplus.dll".
- Running the setup with both dll files will install OMC in "Expert mode" (full access)
- Remove expert.dll and start the setup : OMC will be installed in "Easyplus mode" (similar to Admin session via phone set).
- Remove expert.dll + easyplus.dll and start the setup : OMC will be installed in Easy mode (similar to Operator session via phone set).
Kind regards,
