Digital access in cyclic mode?

Hi,

I have an OXO using a DLT2 with 30 channels to connection to an external PBX (actually a dialogic voice card).
The first 15 channels are dedicated outgoing channels (OXO to dialogic) while the next 1 channels are dedicated incoming channels (dialogic to OXO).
The link is configured as QSIG with the OXO configured as the master

Due to an anomaly, a random channel on the dialogic card will on occassion stop responding. When this happens, a call initiated from the OXO to the dialogic on this channel will simply get the NA tone (3 short "duhts") and disconnect.
Since the trunk line allocation appears to be in sequential mode, the next call that comes in (assuming all lower channels are still in use) is delivered to this same channel and gets disconnected.
As such, all calls that come in while the lower channels are busy will be assigned to this channel and disconnected (unless of course 2 or more calls arrive at the same time).

I would like to change the assignment of the channels to cyclic rather than sequential, but setting the type to cyclic in the list of trunk groups has absolutely no effect.

Can someone point me in the right direction for setting up the DLT2 tie line interface to use cyclic channel allocation?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

Andrew Watson

I don't think you can do that. You'd better work on the cause of your anomaly.

regards.
