Access to Web-Interface not possible, wrong password

Good morning guys,
yesterday I successfully installed our new NMS 2500 on an ESX server. I changed the cliadmin password and also the default admin password for the WEB interface. I´m able to login via cliadmin and password to the server but the WEB interface refuse access with the new password.
I found some information here (remove security directory) but no idea how to get access to this directory in a VM enviroment.

Thanks
Thomas

Hi Thomas,
so you have loged in into the webview via admin/switch, activated the new licenses and changed the password of the admin? It will be better for the next trial that you first create a new user (in group administrator), test this login and change the password of the admin after that.
The default password is working anymore? Maybe in your new pw is a strange character (not sure - maybe # / or !). Try the password with all before this character.

Hi Silvio,

When I´m correct password recover ist not easy, am I correct?

Thanks

correct. At the start it will be easier to install a new OV. As netadmin you have all rights but not to create/change users.
Reset PW of admin needs a special tool and a lot of knowledge about the mongo db.
