We have a Cisco core switch for now and will replace it with a new ALE core soon.

We have a bunch of 6450 switches that we are connecting to the Cisco core, but we are facing issues with the spanning tree.

Do you know what commands are needed on the ALE switch for the spanning tree to work with Cisco?

What problem are you facing?

What STP mode are you running on Cisco?

I was able to fix this. I found in the doc you need to enable the PVST+ to work with cisco switches.
