OXE - Deny refuse right of incoming call

Post by bkmu »

Hi,

Is there a way to deny the right for all my users to refuse incoming calls? That is, nothing happens when pressing the hang up button on the phone.

This is the default for ALE-400 phones, but my Ale-2 SIP-Extensions can hang up and also my GAP dects.

Than you,
Francesco

Precisely, with Matra PBX when we received a call, the extension rang. By pressing the red button we either got the following outcomes:
- The extension kept ringing silently (it continued to ring but without any sound): this was the behavior on "system integrated" digital telephones.
- On the display were shown "Refusing not authorized" and the extension kept ringing. In order to mute it you had to press a proper key on the GAP/analogue phone.

What I am asking is whether is it possibile to replicate a similar behavior with Alcatel OXE. Either to mute it or simply nothing happens when pressing the red button.

Thanks.

yes that was what i'm talking about of course with a lot of errors sorry for that
see phone catalogue user guide there you can read that when incoming CALL come by pressing permanant featurE key "the hangup button" you Hang up key (lit in red) to end a call. that will stop the ring (SILENT) or divert the call to vm or a virtual set:
Decline the incoming call and forward it to your voicemail (if voicemail is available).
Silent ringing when receiving an incoming call. The desk phone stops ringing but you can still answer the incoming call.
Ignore the call. This icon appears when no voicemail is available and the ringer is in silent mode (silent mode activated or you have muted the incoming call ring).

also you can affect programmable key AS

just press that key when incoming call and it will stop ring and call forwarded to as you wish
