Grandstream SIP VoIP extensions not able to make or receive calls

Dear Community,
I have a R100.1 OXE system which has enough SIP extension licenses.
We recently purchased Grandstream SIP devices of type GRP 2602. The SIP extension registers on the system with the newly created SIP accounts.
However making and receiving calls is a problem. I have run two scenarios
1. Making calls between the new Grandstream and an existing NOE set
2. Making calls between the Grandstream and existing Alcatel SIP extension like 8001G and OmniTouch 4135

Below in the attachment text are the different scenarios and corresponding traces

for the second part u have codecs mismatching( 488 and media rejected)
did you managed the compression type for system?
try to decrease the number of the offered codecs in sdp like g711a and g729 only; or manage domain for sets with the adequate compression intra/extra and

Dear Alex and haroun,
Thank you for the feedback and support.
I managed to only get the grandstream set working with both noe and sip extensions after I created the user as sip device and not sip extension.

I have always wondered...what is the technical difference between sip device and sip extension users?

hi
for sip extension the set is considered as whole part of the system and sip device is considered as remote network and need sip trunk and gateway
for sip extension
try this system parameters it's under system /go down in hierarc/qOther System Param /go down in hierarc/Compression Parameters

I did this before by manually building 3 SUs with clear separation and linking each to a set of users using COR. That way, each group worked independently without issues.
