OS6900-X48C6 and OS6360-P10 SFP1G not working

Hello,

I'm trying to connect a OS6360-P10 to our OS6900-X48C6 with SFP1G-LX-31 modules. I already tried several 3m fiber cable LC/LC UPC.

Signal is UP on both sides confirmed with 'show transeivers' but interface is UP only on OS6900-X48C6. On OS6360-P10 the interface is down. There is no traffic.
I also tried to disable autoneg with speed 1000 but still no success.

As a workaround, I've an intermediate switch but I need to remove them.

Thanks in advance for your help,
Regards

Hello,

I tried duplex full, speed 1000 and autoneg disable on both side. OS6900 interface is UP but OS6360 is still down.

Code: Select all

I remember the same issue some years ago. Solved with newer software... Do you use the newest release?

Hello,

I also thought it was a firmware problem, it’s version from 2022 on both sides. Is this from OS6900 or OS6360 ?
I’m waiting a return from our VAD.

Thanks

it was the 6360. But it is a good idea to update both (better all) switches.

Hello,

With last firmware 8.9.94.R4, the interface is now UP.
I need to do some test on my lab before upgrade.
