Hi Guys

I have searched the forum but don't get this error anywhere. (4:2507=Dow: message badly received by thread -8)

Customer has rel L2.300.43 (11.2.2)

Every once in a few months the INTIP 2 card goes out of service and does not want to start up. Stuck on Initialization 1
Sometimes a reset works and sometimes it goes back into service after few hours.

This time it is not coming into service at all.
- We swopped card with different INTIP 2 card - same result
- Created new INTIP card in different slot and moved cabling - Same result
- Bascul just in case there was some corruption on binary files of 1 cpu - same result
- Replaced network cable - same result
- Replaced silver lan box at back of unit - same result

Error I get on incvisu:

lanpbxbuild is correct

The last option I have is to reload linux and see if that helps but not sure the pabx is the problem here. I want to blame the network as I have eliminated almost everything except new software.

any help will be greatly appreciated.

From incident 747 description:

Config error or Loss of IP connection: P1

P1 : error type
P2 : crystal number
P3 : coupler number
P4 : IP address of the board
P5 : Ethernet address of the board
Incident Format : P1,(P2,P3),P4,P5
An INT/IP board is badly configured or its IP connection is down.
If the P1 error is :
2 . Bad crystal coupler configuration
3 . Bad crystal number (at least)
4 . Bad MAC address configuration or multiple configuration
An INT/IP board is not put in service.
Verify that the configuration is correct.

Certainly its network problem, as you tried everything possible in this situation.

HI Alex

We managed to get the card initialized this morning but not sure what actually fixed it.
What we did :

- I asked customer to force port on switch to 100mb full duplex yesterday but this did not get the card in service...
- We bridged the PSAL to -48 just in case there was a voltage fluctuation perhaps. There was no PSAL incident for this but I did not want to take chances.
- We Powered down the unit and pulled out all cards from the system.

Then we started the system up with only the INTIP 2 in the unit. The card came into service immediately.

We then reseated all cards and all is fine.

thank you for taking the time to respond.
