After a lot of unsuccessful search in this forum...

I plan to replace massively non-PoE switchs by PoE ones on several sites where Alcatel IP phones are deployed with power supplies.

Does someone know the behaviour of ip phones when two power sources are simultaneously available (Power supply and PoE)?
Is it risky ? is there a priority ? can it be configurable?

We used to have that in the company i work for for years,
with Premium reflexes and 4028, 4038, 4028EE and 4038EE,
using different kind of power supplies.
My impression is that the PoE supply wins.
Nice surprise when you switch off PC and laboratory power supply etc off in the evening and the phone still works.
