Hello all
i have almost 68 different location connected by E-1. Now we want to use E-1 and SIP Trunk using ars. Everything ok, but when i create a prefix using ARS Prof.Trk Grp Seiz.with overlap and set Discriminator No. : 8 or above 9 our system show Illegal integer value. But maximum Discriminator No. can be set or use 7. How how i can use ars and create prefix .

Thanks

For ARS prefix you need to use LOGICAL discriminator (0-7).
Real discriminator will be selected depends of - Entity/discriminator selector.

for the old release i think it's a limitation teh number of descriminator is set to 8 x
x Discriminator Nr. x
x This attribute represents a discriminator selection (0 to 7). The x
x correspondence between this discriminator selection and the discriminator (0 x
x to 255) is made in the data of the entity of the calling set.

but you can play with entities to make different discriminator for diffrent user by the way you have lot's of pbx so the number discriminator is high in totaly

look how we differentiate discriminator according to entity for the same prefix

prefix

x Node Number (reserved) : 1 x
x Instance (reserved) : 1 x

for entity 1 5 is 8

Looks you're misunderstanding ARS.
Basically you need only one ARS prefix and then routing goes on different routes(different TGs) depending on sbs' COS, dialled digits, time of day etc.
