OXE R100.1 FQDN

Post by mtcl »

Hi

An upgrade is to be done in an OXE system with twin CPU (local redundancy)
An I read in the documentation, it is necessary to define the FQDN on both CPU. Since FQDN is composed by the "Node name" and the "Domain name", should I use exactly the same FQDN on both CPU ?

Thanks

Not necessary, I have upgrade 100 systems to R100.1 in the last 2 months and no issues at all

This might be due because the R100.1 latest patch brings 4645 voicemail to email (not IMAP), therefore the system needs a fqdn to connect to a mail server.
