Hi all,

Is there a method for finding and replacing multiple entries of the same word in the config file?

We have just acquired a new network and need to amend all the references of that business name in the config to ours.

Sorry for delay, meant to reply earlier!!!

I have not found a direct way to do this on Nokia. Juniper is nice and easy - replace pattern x with pattern y.
The easiest way on Nokia is to load a new config in - but - if it's just descriptions, you can update a config file and just either past back in, or exec it etc.

Happy to be corrected if there's a better way than these - but not away of any. I am sure you have sorted it by now, so interested to see which approach you took.
