Password recovery

Hello all
We have some tuto to recover root password on old CS boards or CPU boards. We have also tuto to recover this password on VM Centos (Release R100 or R100.1)
But I can't do it on CS2 or CS3 boards. IS There a way to do it ?

R100 has its grub locked with a password now.
If you crack it, please share it
