Anyone has an idea on what this unlabeled LED light is for (see attached, it's the Amber light)?

No mention of it in the manual and I'm wondering what's it for..

I am not sure which unlabeled LED you are meaning. But in the hardware guide f.e. for 8.9R02 page 1-30 (38 of 76) you find the answer.
