Can someone tell me what is the login for a VPU5/6?

I have a Welcome to 4635 Appliance Server screen and a 46x5: prompt.

using mtcl/mtcl it just gives me a '#' prompt?

using 2222 or 5555 doesn't do anything?

Serial connector on backplane is at the top as per install docs.

What am i missing please?
