Hello there
I can't reset password on alcatel 8018 ip phone. When I want to enter the admin menu by pressing the *# keys while the phone is booting, it asks for the same password. how can i reset the password. please help.

There was a topic here that using older firmware helped.
I have the same issue with 8028EE/8038EE.
My workaround was to enable telnet from OXE,
tool ippstat telnet d (extension) t 1440

find the ip address:

tool ippstat list all

and then change the settings using telnet, like:

ipconfig set ip 139.128.172.127
ipconfig set router 139.128.172.254
ipconfig set mask 255.255.255.0
ipconfig set tftp 139.128.169.224
ipconfig set tftpport 69
ipconfig set cpu 139.128.169.224
ipconfig set mode static
ipconfig set vlan 200
ipconfig set use_vlan yes
