Hi,

I got a preinstalled Release 12.1 appliance server IBMX3250-M6 from Alcatel.

But the server is not giving any output on the serial port so I cant manage the IP details on the netadmin.

Please advise.

Do you have connected keyboard and display (for BIOS setting checking)?

Hi,

Yes, I check the serial port COM1 configuration in BIOS settings.
Port is enabled.
baud rate: 9600
parity none:
data bits (word size): 8
stop bits: 1
flow control: none

Once the server will boot it shows on the display "GRUB loading stage2. Output on the serial line".

But no output getting from COM1.
