Hi all,

I'm trying to set up a basic BGP-VPLS config in the lab and I cant get the SDP to come up within the VPLS itself. LDP tunnel is up

sdp:12:4294967289 S(************) BgpVpls 0 9166 Up Down

Flag indicates this:

Flags : PWPeerFaultStatusBits

I may well be missing a simple step here but any help would be great.

Hi,

Apologies for delay. I just tested your configs, and had the same as you. As soon as I added a SAP that was in the up state to both ends VPLs, then the SDP binding came up. The status is telling you that the remote end is down. Ie there is no egress point.
If I just do a shutdown of the SAP, then the remote end shows the SDP binding as down.
