G729a on IP trunks

I know in R6_0_1 you couldn't use G729a on IP trunks, you could only use G723. Is it possible to use G729a on IP trunks in R8? Is this configured under the trunk group or on the VPN Overflow compression type?

provided you have license for G729 server.

Yes, we have G729a license, funny we sold these to the customer on R5 for use on these trunks even though the trunks couldn't support the codec at the time
