upgrade from 8.5 to 8.7.1 question !!

I upgrade my os6860e from the 8.5 to 8.7.1 . and reload from working is ok. But I set the "aaa switch-access mode enhance" before I create the user config-mode-user. So, I could not config this switch anymore.
I turn off the power and turn on it again. It is running at Certified with 8.5 . I try to change the "aaa switch-access mode default" and "copy certified working" and "modify running-director working". The switch's setting is ok and running ok. But, I try to upgrade firmware from 8.5 to 8.7.1. I finished the image upload and check the microcode by "microcode working" that show the correct version. Then, I reload the switch by command "reload from working no rollback-timeout".
After switch reboot, I check the switch loaded image is 8.5 and running directory is Certified. I check the the log, it had some warning information.

according the RN 8.6R02:
Feature Guidelines:
The following guidelines should be followed due to the introduction of config-mode in the 8.6R2 release.
1. Due to the introduction of config-mode and the new config-mode user, if the switch is running in
Enhanced Mode an AOS software upgrade is not possible from a release prior to 8.6.R02. As a
workaround, the user needs to re-enable the Default Mode, perform the software upgrade,
configure the config-mode user and then configure Enhanced Mode.

As I have done it at 8.6.R02 some years ago I haven't read the RN too and keep the mode at enhanced. So I run in the same issue like you. Onliest way to solve it was usb recovery. You can do it direct to the newest release. Than make all your configs/users again without enhanced mode. Than follow the procedure for the "new" enhanced mode (starting with 8.6R02).
