Hi,

It seems that it's the login/passwd ftp or the parameter 47XX in installation of your PBX.

Authentication failure.. I would go for the login password.

By the way, I changed all password (customer request) on a site, and just so you know, STAND BY CPU does NOT upgrade the password ! It's tricky in case of a bascul !

passwords

Just an added note to Frank's one changing the pw's on the node must be donon all of the cs's that exist csa, csb, and voicemail.

Yes, it 's really long to change all these passwd overall with double CPU. Is there a command to change all the passwrod in the same time ?

I have had this problem several times.
It seems that the cmisd prosess hangs.

You can eigther shutdown the system or just restart the CMISD prosess.

Here are the command. dhs3_init -R CMISD

Good luck!

Hello guys

Sorry for warming up this old topic but I currently have the same problem like stekmtiki mentioned in the first post.

Our local Alcatel support isnt able to solve the problem sine 2 weeks now. I am also not an Alcatel expert so I wanted to ask what will happen if i restart the CMISD at my own. Is CMISD only used between the 4760 and the callservers or does the phones also use CMISD?

Thanks for you help,
Andi

I don't think phones uses CMISD at all, you can do the reset on after work hours if you concern about stability.
That would just reset a internal process and put it working again on few seconds.
I'll recommend to search for releases notes of your version to see if any patch fix this issue.

From my practice - was no problem with using dhs3_init -R CMISD command. No problem with running telephone application.
