Hi all,
i have one questions, currently i'm working at one of IT vendor with Nokia router handle.

May i know, how much mesh-sdp that we can creates under one VPLS services under 7705 SAR-8 chassis?
previously i'm trying to finding out the answers with this syntax :

*A:JKT-SUM2-EN2-SAR8>config>service>vpls# mesh-sdp
- mesh-sdp <sdp-id[:vc-id]> [vc-type {ether|vlan}] [create]
- no mesh-sdp <sdp-id[:vc-id]>

<sdp-id[:vc-id]> : sdp-id - [1..17407]
vc-id - [1..4294967295]
<ether|vlan> : keywords
<create> : keyword - mandatory while creating an entry.

[no] control-word - Enable/disable setting the CW bit in the label message
egress + Mesh SDP binding egress configuration
ingress + Mesh SDP binding ingress configuration
[no] mac-pinning - Enable/disable MAC address pinning on this mesh SDP
[no] shutdown - Administratively enable/disable the mesh SDP binding
[no] static-mac - Configure a static mac entry
[no] vlan-vc-tag - Configure VLAN VC tag

is that valid that max binding of sdp that we can create is around 17k? or maybe it just defines an sdp-id? not an amount of sdp intances under vpls.

thanks for your attention,

Its just the highest number you can assign a SDP.
Depending on sw/hw of your SAR-8, the number of actual configured SDP's will be quite a bit lower than 17407 SDPs.
You can get the actual number by contacting your Nokia support / sales manager to get the scaling numbers for your setup.
