Error code 1680
16/08/04 15:04:28 00000M|--/--/-/---|=0:1680=Applicative error 16 type, infos 65535, 65535
I get thousands of these, Alcatel says just ignore them same as they say about most of the error codes we get.
Any ideas.

Hi Carl..
I have exactly the same errors, and I opened a trouble ticket with the TAC today. I'll let you know if they find a solution..

You can get some idea running "incinfo GEA 1680" command.
It says:
" 16 : Call of a telephone command with an incorrect value for an user"
" half-communication structure address."
Well, If you can reproduca ithis error, I would check it with "demi_com d MCDU" running in a loop.It will show you half-communication structure.
Analyzing output may help understand what is wrong.
Anyway, TechSupport help is appreciated.

Hi !
Yeah, I know about the incinfo

But it was not usefull at all. Plus this error message comes EVERY 30 seconds. They have HUNDREED OF THOUSAND of it.. I did not know about the demi_com command, I will check it out. Can you write a little something about it in USEFULL COMMANDS forum ?
Thank you !
PS: This web site starts to be usefull, it's cool !

Well ...In this case any command is useless

Looks like they have what I call "A real traffic".Error occurs for every call, may be some errors for one call.
100% sure - it is a SW bug.

I don't know about that. We (TAC and I) though it was the 4760. Even turned off, the error keeps coming. Any idea of what runs every 30s on the 4400 ?

I am working on the same issue, running sw version 4.1.1 (d1.311.7s).
The incidents only appear between 7am and 6pm
I find some information on the BP website that might fix the issue
According to release doc for D2.314.5.d there's a fix for the following:

XTSce05887 Incident 1680 and 1722 appear sometimes during "uasim" traffic on transit node.
So the questin is anyone running release d2.314.5.d and above? and if so are you seeing this error

I tend to believe that the error is related to voice traffic, I get the errors mostly on 3 of the nodes that are having the biggest problem with voice quality.

Well, even if severity of this incident is 0 but you have tons of them - that means something's wrong. You should press on Tech Support for correcting this stuff.Did they advise you to install latest patch?
They say it does not matter....you know the game.
