tty command

Post by k1102503 »

Hi all,
I tried to changet columns size on 6860,but the tty command didn't work .
When I change tty to (tty 24 150) and show the tty value, it will be reset to the default value as (tty 24 80).
Is there any way to fix this issue ?

best regards,

if you mean the windows size at the serial interface - with a very short word wrap - you can use the following. Here at 6900 - it works for 6860 too:

> su
Entering maintenance shell. Type 'exit' when you are done.
TOR #-> export PROMPT_COMMAND="resize &>/dev/null"
TOR #-> exit
logout
