Spanning-Tree Issue?

Post by Solid »

Hi,

i have two 6860E as a VC as Management-Switch. I want to connect a VC of two 6560-X10 just for Management-Porpouses. So i created a VLAN-Interface on the 6560 and connected the 6560 VC via LACP-Portchannel to the VC of 6860E. On the 6860E, the VLAN is the Management-VLAN.

When i bring up all the Ports, the VLAN goes into "blocking" state on the 6560 VC. Even when i don't have a Port-Channel and just put one Port in the VLAN, it goes into "blocking". I have configured the 6860E-VC as the Root-Bridge in the VLAN.

Config on 6560:

linkagg lacp agg 31 size 2 admin-state enable
linkagg lacp agg 31 name "6860E_Linkagg110"
linkagg lacp agg 31 actor admin-key 31
linkagg lacp port 1/1/8 actor admin-key 31
linkagg lacp port 2/1/8 actor admin-key 31
vlan 20 members linkagg 31 tagged
vlan 999 members linkagg 31 untagged

6560# sh vlan mem linka 31
vlan type status
--------+-----------+---------------
20 qtagged blocking
999 default blocking

Config 6860E:

linkagg lacp agg 100 size 8 admin-state enable
linkagg lacp agg 100 name "6560_Linkagg31"
linkagg lacp agg 100 actor admin-key 100
linkagg lacp port 1/1/12 actor admin-key 100
linkagg lacp port 2/1/12 actor admin-key 100
vlan 999 members linkagg 100 untagged
vlan 20 members linkagg 100 tagged

6860E#sh vlan mem linkagg 100
vlan type status
--------+-----------+---------------
20 qtagged forwarding
