hi,

i need your recommendation regarding OS6865 configuration to External firewall. OS6865 had created 8 VLANs , VLAN17-24, 31. The firewall guy he wants to communicate with my VLAN's to monitor the traffic.

Vlan 18 ip 10.21.18.0/24 gateway 10.21.18.1
Vlan 19 ip 10.21.19.0/24 gateway 10.21.19.1
Vlan 20 ip 10.21.20.0/24 gateway 10.21.20.1
Vlan 22 ip 10.21.22.0/24 gateway 10.21.22.1
Vlan 23 ip 10.21.23.0/24 gateway 10.21.23.1
Vlan 24 ip 10.21.24.0/24 gateway 10.21.24.1

Vlan 31 ip 10.21.31.248/29 gateway 10.21.31.249 - firewall

Depends on how you want to communicate.
Are the VLANs communicating without firewall (e.g. from vlan 17 to vlan 19?)
Should traffic be firewalled between these vlans?

How does the firewall want to communicate with the vlans?
What is the source IP of the traffic comming from firewall?

If your vlans are allowed to communicate freely it should work already. all the firewall needs is a route for vlans 17-24 pointing towards the IP of the switch.
