Hi,

is there a way to configure an IP-Address directly to a Hardware-Port? Like when using "no switchport" on Cisco to make it a Layer-3 Port?

I ask because the 6550-X10 have no L3-Management-Port and i want to monitor them with snmp etc over our management-platform.

could you please insert the output after "ip interface xxx address zzz/y ?"
on latest gear there is this fancy rtr-port

search in the cli guide for "ip interface rtr-port"
