Hi all,
I was wandering a way to backup the configuration of Alcatel switches without using an omnivista.
Do you know a way to do it?

you has to use a tool that can copy (login automaticly, for regurlary backups with a sceduler) the boot-files from the switch to your server. The switch can use ftp, sftp, scp.

omnivista 2500 can do it. For the first 10 switches the license is for free.

what is the issue? lots of open source, when i started, used expect script and diff
