Hi there ..
With the new PC-INSTALLER, everything is very easy.
Just check in the installation documentation if your voicemail version is supported... Check also that you have a CPU5 step 3 minimum.. Beside that, BACKUP and FTP on your own computer
From what I saw on my own installation, a major upgrade format both partition on the hard drive, so you won't be able to roll back.. I would advise to do those upgrade on Friday night so you'll have all week end to work on the surprises
May the force be with you !

If you are going to release 5.1Lx and using 4760.
You will need to upgrde 4760 to rel 2.1

We're considering also moving from 5.0UX to 5.1LX. However, now that version 6.0 is almost here, might wait for that instead....

Let me say something: the LIOE board is supported by the R5.1Lx, but it can not sopport IPT and VoIP trunks at the same time as the INIP does. About the Release 6.0: if you purchase the 5.1Lx before december, Alcatel gives you the 6.0 free of charge (at least thats what they say in Latam)
Good Luck! And migrate the 4400, the new release has several improves!
