Possible Broadcast storm

Hello all,

Was wondering, what is the CLI command to show if there are multiple IP addresses coming from the same port? I have a feeling someone created a loop in our network. Just trying to figure out where the issue might be coming from before walking around 2 buildings.

Just an FYI, I am a beginner when it comes to networking, so sorry in advance for dumb questions and responses. Its something I do not do often.

Thanks

at a layer 3 switch (if the switch acts as the gateway/router in your network) you can check with "show arp". At L2 switches you didn't see the ip addresses.
But there are some other features to find out loops. Best way is to activate loopback detection (LBD). How to configure you will find in the cli and network guide. To see the port where the loops are greated use "show interface port". If you see violations (at down ports) with LBD than you have found the port.
