Please use the search facility on this site.

There is nothing worse for a guru than having to repeat an answer for someone who hasn't tried helping himself.

If you have already tried search, then please state that you have. Guru symapthy will probably kick in at that point.

On this occassion, i will help you by asking you to search for the text 'rj45' and you should come up with a hit on the 1st result page (not the first post in the result page).

Hi,
this problem was happens to me, when I going to closed my laptop ( before removed the V24 cable from OXE ) the OXE
made a reboot and it was happens only on one OXE system.
So, just be careful at next time....

That sounds to me that your laptop has something real bad on its power supply, have you try to do the same without power supply? only batteries? I know of a case when a laptop with a damaged power supply inducted bad energy to the OXE throught the serial port and made it blow up  I saw it happen....

What do you mean you know a case....

It was really you... and I wouldn't trust a monkey with a 1.5v DC battery let alone 240/110v AC. And what is this obsession you have with voltages?

do monkeys really have short memories? KITT was nuclear powered and not battery powered. Still, I suppose nuclear power is even more dangerous in the hands of a primate
