Send text messages via SIP Trunk

Hello Alcatel Unleashed community,
my goal is to replace a information server from a hardware device to a virtual system.

The server was connected via a Dialogic Diva Card over a normal ISDN-trunk (Everything worked perfect) and the new server should be connected to the ALCATEL via a SIP-Trunk.

The information server should support the following points:
- Calling phones to play WAV Files (Already works via SIP & ISDN)
- Accept incoming calls to record messages from users (Already works via SIP & ISDN)
- Recoginze DTMF from the user (Already works via SIP & ISDN)
- Sending Text messages to the phones (Only works via ISDN!)

-> My goal is, to find a way to send text messages ("Mini Messages") to the phones, from the new virtual server via the SIP trunk.

How would you try to do that? Is there actually no way achieve that via SIP? Is there an alternative solution?

Thank you!

Hy frank,
I was connected to the PBX via a Dialogic Diva card and had to set the Setting "Transparent Facility" to ON.

I used a CAPI application to initiate my calls. When I made a call, the Mini Message was sent with the call automatically. I guess this means I used ABC-F?

For call - check with "t3" trace. I think will be clear - used "Display" (just - name) or "UUS" (user-user signaling)

Sorry, I don't really get it.
Does this mean that I just have to turn on USER-USER Signaling on my trunk? But how does that help with Mini Message? How can I parse the Mini Message in SIP protocol?

Edit: Or do you mean that I have to add a field "UUS" to my SIP header?

I HAVE OXE -ISDN-gsmgateway vtmpro, using UUS TO SEND SMS doesn't work , first you have to setup the call and it's displayed text if , you press it to selct message to send the call is disconnected and new setup is send with the message but nothing is happening in the mobile no sms no call ( i remebered with r7.1 whith same schemas i got a short ring in the mobile at least

Hi guys,
I got a new idea concerning my Mini Message problem.
I have heard about a ALCATEL V24 Terminaladapter, which communicates via the ABC-A protocol.
Is there a way to transfer mini messages to telephones via such a V24 Terminaladapter? I think this would be a beautiful workaround.

Thank you!

Sorry, not understand the first question, I think you need to send text message via ISDN.
For sending text message to the sets - may be you need Notification server (System doc/ General application / Notification server)?
